My Blog is boring lately...but that is fixin' to change in the not-so-distant future. I am really looking forward to starting my season off in Fruita in a couple of weeks even though I won't have ridden once on dry dirt before I get there.
This spring, the Byers' home has been the perfect storm of distractions: Work is busier than normal, we were selling our current home in Driggs, ID, we are building a new home 10 miles south in Victor, ID, packing for the pending move on April 26th, and then there is the weather...
If this pans out, this weekend's planned long ride could be a test of will.

Wow, I'm surprised at the poll results so far. I thought I'd be one of the few standard rim/tube hold outs.
Sorry we're going to miss you by a week in Fruita! You should have a great time.

Ed - I am in the same camp. I run standard rims with tubes but I don't usually ride where there are thorns. If it's not broke, don't fix it right? :)
