Building the Salsa Selma Ti Singlespeed

I picked Selma up on Friday afternoon from Fitzy's and immediately built her up in time for my planned six hour ride on Saturday. If you haven't seen one of the new Salsa Ti bikes in person, you should check them out. They nailed the geometry and the welds are gorgeous.

  1. What did you get for the frame weight? Size? I know you weighed it ;-)

  2. That was fun!

Now I'll have "a kiss with a fist is better than none" stuck in my head all day ;)

She looks sweet, looking forward to hearing about her.

  3. LW - the frame is not the lightest at 4.5 lbs for my large. For reference, my scandium One9 singlespeed was 21.5 lbs and the new Selma Ti is 22.2 lbs. The alternator dropouts probably add a bit of weight because they are steel.

  5. In your video you say adios to the Niner. Did you get the Selma because of anything to do with the 1-9? Any issues with the EBB?
