Finally built.

I think I am officially the world's slowest bike builder. Many distractions over the past week prolonged this project but I finally got the La Cruz built up late yesterday. The Planet Bike Cascadia fenders should be here any day now to complete the build.






This is the cleanest this bike will ever be. I plan to ride this bike with fenders whenever its wet and then throw some 38c knobbies on it for summertime dirt road exploring.

Build Notes
1) Always face your disc tabs - there was a lot uneven paint on the rear tabs
2) Campy levers + Avid BB7s will be an interesting experiment
3) The Campy Ultra Torque bottom bracket is genious
4) The American Classic MTB Disc wheels are only 22mm wide which allow me to both road and cyclocross tires
5) Salsa should add a braze-on mount to this frame since 28.6 FD clamps are rare
